about me

I am a doctoral student in the Department of English and Comparative Literature at the University of Cincinnati. My primary research interests are in Mormon fiction, contemporary American fiction, and representations of 19th century America. I also have interests in pop culture and American religious studies.

My scholarly writing and book reviews have been published in War, Literature, and the Arts, The Edgar Allan Poe Review, Irreantum, and BYU Studies Quarterly. I blog regularly at Modern Mormon Men and Dawning of a Brighter Day, the official blog of the Association for Mormon Letters, and serve as the book review editor for Irreantum
